JOIN US- NBPT Framers hosts Rolling River Printmakers for the exhibit "Hung Up On Impressions" featuring monotypes, monoprints, woodcut, collagraph, linocut, drypoint and more. Award winning Printmaker, Diane Francis will be demonstrating the process of woodblock cut, the oldest form of printmaking. You'll have a chance to speak with the printmakers to learn about their unique and technical processes. The exhibition will be displayed in a style synonymous and typical of what you would find in a working printmakers studio. Elizabeth Sheehan's TEXTURES will be on display in the Institution for Savings Gallery at the Firehouse Center for the Arts. Elizabeth Sheehan started out as a Boston based artist who first pursued her B.A. in English and minored in psychology from Eastern Nazarene College, Quincy, MA. After receiving her degree, she waited a year and began attending the Massachusetts College of Art where she received her B.F.A in Painting in the year 1999. She taught art and was a preschool teacher for many years. She had work in galleries, benefits in Boston, Cambridge, Dorchester and Open Studios (in Dorchester and Somerville).
